Due to the on-going pandemic I am no longer able to offer face to face counselling sessions as it is not possible to adequately respect the government’s social distancing guidelines. During this difficult time I am however available to provide on-line counselling using Zoom and telephone counselling is also available. Please contact me for further information.
Are you considering counselling as a therapy and not sure where to begin? Counselling can provide a valuable space that can enable you to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions in a confidential setting.
I can help you determine how you would like things to be, what obstacles are in the way and how you can begin to work towards effective change. Perhaps you have been feeling stuck and cannot find a way forward.
Together we can help you understand your patterns of behaviour and adopt new ways of managing situations. Working towards effective change can enhance your well being, improve relationships, reduce stress and anxiety and promote better sleep.
My practice is based in Chislehurst, close to the High Street, with free parking available.
I also practice in Meldreth, near Royston in Hertfordshire.
I have been providing counselling in private practice since 2010.
My experience includes 5 years of counselling adults in a GP setting offering short term CBT based therapy and 4 years experience working in schools with children and young people.
I offer a person centred approach integrating CBT and psychodynamic theories.
My training is integrative, this means I have the knowledge of counselling theories which can help with the following.
- Anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks & emotional issues
- Life crisis & health related issues
- Low self-esteem & self confidence
- Phobias, obsessions & OCD
- Life skills & personal development
- Relationships; couples and individuals
